NGV 2019 Architecture Commission Competition Opens

The National Gallery of Victoria recently launched the design competition for the 2019 Architecture Commission External link which is part of the State Government’s annual Victorian Design Program. The Commission invites proposals from architect-led design teams to activate the Grollo Equiset Garden with a temporary structure or installation. The jury, which will be chaired by Jill Garner, Victorian Government Architect, includes Corbett Lyon (Lyons Architecture), Clare Cousins (Clare Cousins Architects and National President of the Australian Institute of Architects), Andrew Clark (Deputy Director of NGV) and Timothy Moore (Sibling Architecture). Registrations for the competition close on 21 January 2019, with the winner announced on 23 March during Melbourne Design Week.
