Corbett Lyon is a founding Director of Lyons, a Melbourne architectural design practice. Lyons' work focuses on the contemporary city and has been the recipient of numerous national and international design awards. In 2000 Lyons represented Australia at the Venice International Architectural Biennale and the firm's work is included in the Phaidon Atlas of Contemporary World Architecture and Taschen's A-Z of Modern World Architecture.

Corbett studied at the University of Melbourne and gained a First Class Honours in Architecture in 1979 before completing a Masters in Architecture as an ITT International Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania in 1980. Corbett is a Visiting Professor at the University of Melbourne where he has taught and lectured in architectural design for over 25 years in the University's design programs.

He is one of Australia's leading collectors and commentators on Australian contemporary art and supports contemporary art and architecture in Melbourne as a Governor of the National Gallery of Victoria Foundation, a Member of NGV Contemporary and as a Member of the Heide Museum of Modern Art Foundation. Corbett is also a member of the International Council of Museums and a Fellow of the AIA.
