Damian Collopy is a landscape architect with 30 years experience across both practice and government. His capability as a landscape and urban design adviser within the multi-disciplinary environment of complex transport projects is highly respected and valued. Damian’s role at the Office of the Victorian Government Architect integrates urban design intelligence into:

  • level crossing removal projects
  • major roads and bridges infrastructure
  • movement systems including active and public transport.

Damian advocates for exemplary project processes and his capable input supports improved outcomes. His technical expertise and guidance to state delivery agencies, industry professionals, local government and external stakeholders has influenced many notable state projects including:

  • Chair of the Urban Design Advisory Panel (UDAP) for Victoria’s extensive Level Crossing Removal Program
  • Westgate tunnel project
  • Suburban Rail Loop Public Open Space Expert Panel (POSEP).

Damian's academic qualifications are a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (RMIT University).
