In a letter to competitors released today, the Hon. Richard Wynne, Minister for Planning and Minister for Housing, said 'It gives me great pleasure to announce that one of the competition winners will see their adapted design brought to life through the construction of an apartment building.'

The Future Homes competition is seeking fresh thinking for apartment design and new approaches to how we live in our suburbs.

The OVGA is partnering with the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning to deliver the competition and implementation of lessons from the project. With this commitment from the Department of Health and Human Services, we are excited to see the first built example of a Future Homes apartment come to life.
