Tanderrum Bridge recognised by American Institute of Architects

Tanderrum Bridge, with its treetop pedestrian experience connecting Birrarung Marr to Melbourne & Olympic Park, has been honoured with an award in urban design from the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter.

The bridge was part of the Victorian Government’s $338M Stage 2 redevelopment of M&OP and the successful outcome of a design competition judged by the OVGA’s M&OP Design Quality Team, who continue to provide design advice to Melbourne & Olympic Parks Trust on further stages of the precinct vision.

Congratulations to John Wardle Architects, NADAAA and Oculus for international recognition of their fine contribution to Melbourne’s urban realm.
